Today's episode is in response to a talk from Albert Tate at the Global Leadership Summit about how important it is that we as leaders realize that each of us regardless of our experience or position can learn from anyone!
Here are some of the high points:
Leadership is influence. Everyone has influence... which means that everyone is a leader.
If you're a mother or father, you are a leader. In your workplace, you may have opportunities to be a leader. In the environments you are in, are you leaving people better or worse?
As leaders, we NEED to have an abundance of humility!
With humility, it brings the ability to learn... and often the best place to learn will be a location where you get to be around people who are DIFFERENT than you!
We ALL can learn from anyone. When we are with people, we have the opportunity to ask questions, listen, learn and understand!
The older we get, the more confident we get that there is MUCH that we don't know!
